Paul was a musician and songwriter in the band The Montrose Avenue, and released five singles and one album on Columbia Records. Following this he started to work as a recording and front of house engineer. He’s worked with a wide range of artists such as Roots Manuva, Corrine Bailey-Rae, Alison Moyet and Pavement.
In 2005 Paul started the band Nazca Lines, writing and self-producing an album from which several tracks received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music. He’s a mostly self-taught sound engineer who believes that well-trained ears are more important than the latest technology, although he’s always tempted by the lure of shiny new gadgets.
Paul continues to work at various studios and live venues across London and Brighton.
