CALLING ALL GUITARISTS, BASSISTS, DRUMMERS, VOCALISTS AND ASPIRING PRODUCERS… ROCK OUT DURING SUMMER WITH OUR EXCITING 2017 SUMMER SCHOOLS!
Each year at BIMM, we run a range of Summer Schools for musicians young and old looking to develop their technique, their confidence as live performers or simply to just have fun. So if you’re a guitarist, singer, bassist or drummer, a BIMM Summer School is a fantastic way to spend your break.
We run two different performance courses – the Music Performance Summer School powered by Radar for those who love classic rock, and the Music Performance Summer School powered by Marshall for all the metal heads out there. Each Summer School is a five-day week and consists of dedicated tuition for your chosen instrument, a live performance workshop on stage every afternoon to hone your performance skills, along with a different special guest each day.
On the last day, you’ll get to form a band and rehearse your favourite track of the week in preparation for an afternoon performance for all your friends and family. The Summer Schools are open to all musicians who are not absolute beginners on their instrument and are aged 11+. We always have a good range of ages at our Summer Schools; so remember, you’re never too old or too young to rock out!
We will also be running a week-long Music Production Summer School powered by Ableton, for those looking to develop their software and production skills. Working very closely with our partners, music hardware and software company Ableton, you’ll be guided by professional producers to develop and create music in any style that takes your fancy.
