BIMM Bristol alumni and R&B star, Keir is being tipped as the one to watch, following a string of triumphant festival appearances and live shows including Secret Garden Party, Dot To Dot and The Great Escape.
To add to the hype, the 22-year-old singer-songwriter, who studied Songwriting at BIMM, has just announced the release his highly-anticipated debut single ‘Probably’.
Keir’s addictive debut fuses R&B and indie with powerful vocals and riff-heavy guitars. The result is a sound that’s original and like nothing of its time
The track, which has been released on the new Crosstown Recordings label, has already received plenty of fanfare from the music press.
Clash Magazine called the song “a bold, ambitious piece of songwriting writing. ‘Probably’ might just be his breakout moment.”
On November 1st Kier will be performing at The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch, a free gig that sold out in 2 weeks! Find his other tour dates online.
Those who have followed Keir’s promising music career from the start will know of his breakthrough live show at the Nest Club in Bath, which later lead to a number of fantastic opportunities and regular airplay on BBC Introducing. He’s also been supported by Huw Edwards on Radio 1 and Dermot O’Leary on Radio 2.
BBC Introducing’s Sam Bonham is just one of many music industry insiders currently singing Keir’s praises, commenting: ”Every once in a while you come across an artist who changes everything. Keir is one of them.”
‘Probably’ is out now on Crosstown Recordings.
