As you’ll no doubt know, many UK universities are charging undergraduates fees of up to £9,000 per year. But as BIMM is the UK’s most successful music education provider, we’re uniquely positioned to offer outstanding quality and value to our students.
Which means that all our undergraduate three year degree courses are priced at £6,750 per annum for UK and EU students, and since all BIMM courses are formally validated and fully accredited, students may apply to the Student Loan Company (SLC) to cover £6,165 of the tuition fees payable. The remaining £585 would need to be paid by the student before 15th August 2017. But please be aware that student funding for courses is not available to everyone, so it’s worth checking if you’re eligible before applying for your course.
Students from Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales should select the appropriate link for finance:
EU students may be able to get a student loan to cover tuition costs. If you’re an EU student, information on how to apply can be found at: direct.gov.uk/studentfinance (please select ’students from other EU countries’).
If you are an EU student applying to our UK colleges, see our update on Brexit.
Please note, students who are from countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) and not from a country formally within the European Union (EU) will not be eligible for the UK & EU fee and be asked to pay the Non-EU fee.
For students to be eligible for SLC funding, they must be studying a designated course. Courses at BIMM Institute are designated each year by the Department for Education. We have made an application for our courses to also be designated for the 2017-18 academic year. We expect this process to be completed in early 2017. Visit www.hefce.ac.uk/reg/desig/cdforstudents for more information.
Please be advised that a minimum level of essential equipment is required to start your studies with BIMM. To see what that is for your course, please have a read of the BIMM Essential Equipment Guide.
