BA (HONS) IN COMMERCIAL MODERN MUSIC
BIMM Dublin offers a BA (Hons) in Commercial Modern Music validated by Dublin Institute of Technology. This is a full time programme with options in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals and Songwriting. At BIMM Bristol and BIMM Brighton we also run full time programmes at various levels including Diploma, Cert HE, Foundation Degree and BA Honours. Application is through the CAO and must be made before 1st February in the year of entry.
CPD DIPLOMA IN PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANSHIP
The BIMM Dublin CPD Diploma in Professional Musicianship (Performance or Songwriting) is comprised of three key modules from the BIMM Dublin BA Honours programme. It is an ideal course for anyone who wishes to further their musical abilities, but cannot make the commitment or lacks the entry requirements to undertake a full-time programme. This is a part-time (4.5 hours a week), one-year programme, aimed at musicians with semi-professional ability. It is designed to help you reach your full potential on your instrument/voice or in songwriting. The course may allow for progression onto a BA Honours programme and is validated by the Dublin Institute of Technology. Students who successfully complete the CPD Diploma in Professional Musicianship will be awarded 30 ECTS credits. CPD Diploma students are registered DIT students with access to a wide range of services and facilities provided within the Institute.

PERFORMANCE COURSES
Both the BA (Hons) in Commercial Modern Music and the CPD Diploma in Professional Musicianship require you to choose your instrument - guitar, bass, drums, vocals or songwriting. Please go to the instrument tabs for full course information.
