Diploma Songwriting Programme Leader

Phil is a talented singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer based in South West London. He has over a decade of experience as an educator, working independently and for organisations such as Yamaha Music Schools and Apple. He recently received a Masters level qualification in Learning & Teaching from The University of Sussex and he has written songwriting and theory courses for music colleges across Europe.

As a performer and recording artist, Phil has performed at many of London’s top venues, including The O2, BBC Television Centre, Stratford Olympic Park and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. He is currently the guitarist and musical director for afrobeat/pop artist Aadae, recently playlisted on BBC 6 Music. They are scheduled to play Latitude, Green Man Festival and Liverpool Sound City in 2018 as well as performing at the XXI Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
