Dom began his career as a musical tea boy at Parr Street Studios while studying Music and Sound Technology at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Upon graduation he became an engineer and ProTools programmer, before moving to London in 1999 to work as a freelancer in some of the city’s best studios. As a composer and producer Dom set up with creative partner Ant Adams at Ealing Film studios where they developed hundreds of radio and TV adverts plus commissions for film and TV for clients including BBC, Channel 4, Sky, Sony Playstation, EMI, Universal, HSBC, Nokia, Carlsberg and Diagio.
Dom joined seminal dance pioneers, The Orb, and started several side projects with them, including Transit Kings, Belka and Strelka, and High Frequency Bandwidth, playing at festivals such as Glastonbury, Fuji Rocks and The Big Chill, and touring Europe and Japan in the process. As a programmer, arranger, producer and co-writer Dom has worked with artists as diverse as Rick Wright and David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Katherine Jenkins, Brian Molko (Placebo), Just Jack, Liberty X, The Spice Girls and Johnny Marr (The Smiths) and he’s also written and co-produced scores for Bollywood films in Mumbai. In 2010 his video game score for ‘PixelJunk Shooter’ was nominated for a BAFTA for ‘Best Original Score’.
