Music Business Lecturer *

Mark teaches Music Business at BIMM Music Institute Brighton. He has worked across the globe with primarily independent artists such as: Passenger (most notably through his “Sound of the C” promotion nights with his first ever solo show back in 2009), The Matthew Jay Tribute Concert, pivotal performances at One Movement (Perth), The Feeling, Will And The People, Stu Larsen, Steve Conte, Emma Stevens, Hogan, Melodramas, The Lost Souls Club, Dlugokecki, The Rebs, Goober Gun, Blackcouch and English Pride: (World Cup 2006).

Mark also brings with him 20 years of experience in corporate sales, marketing, managing, booking, promoting, touring, implementing social strategies, as well as releasing/licensing extensively throughout South East Asia, Kuwait, Australia, Europe, USA, Canada and the UK where he has developed networks of influential business contacts and partners across the board.

He was part of the early consultation team for the cutting edge music collaboration app Whole World Band. Mark has spoken on music panels in three continents on the topics of New Business Models for Independent Artists, Developing Emerging Markets (China, Vietnam, Cambodia etc) and Social Media Marketing.

Mark is also a Director of Intune Addicts Ltd where he currently manages Sony signed artist Kelvin Jones and Chase The Tag where he consults to artists and industry in Social Media Strategies, Pre Release Planning, DNA Brand Development, Touring, Performance Craft & Song writing.
