Dex teaches Music Business at BIMM Music Institute Brighton. Dex's career in artist management and A&R has seen him work with such luminaries as Simon Napier Bell and Chris Blackwell. Latterly he was the manager of South Central, who've recorded for Regal (EMI), Young Turks (XL) and remixed over 20 top acts. Scoring a number one Album in Japan and touring extensively with the Prodigy, Pendulum and The Whip.
In 2011 He left Artist Management to launch Portmanteau a successful synch-licensing agency which has subsequently secured many international synchs in Commercials, Movies, TV, Video Games and Trailers. Dex is also a partner and curator of the festival and music industry conference ‘Norwich Sound & Vision’, which takes place every October
