Lee Doyle, Course Leader, Music Production

With over 25 years experience in the music industry, Lee began his career at 17 playing bass and is still playing to this day, just one indication of his passion for all things at the low-end. Since completing his degree in Music Technology and Audio Systems Design, he has enjoyed a career both on stage and behind the scenes in various studios and educational establishments around the North West of the UK.

James Thorne, Deputy Course Leader, Music Production

With a background spanning live sound, theatre and film, James brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise. Beginning his career in theatres, he has spent much of his time since working in live sound and recording studios with artists such as Public Image Ltd, Dappy and The Milk.

Marco Migliari, Senior Lecturer, Music Production

Marco worked for 12 years at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios as a studio engineer and technical manager. In 2008, he chose a freelance career and set up Green Room Studio within the Real World complex, where he currently works as a producer, mixer, engineers and mastering engineer.
