James Fox

Music Journalist

James graduated from BIMM Brighton in 2013, but even as a student was an avid follower of the local live music scene.

He’s spent many years on the lookout for the next big thing, writing about them in his gig and album reviews for Brighton SOURCE, XYZ Magazine, Punktastic and Musical Mathematics, or playing them on his weekly radio shows on Juice 107.2, Seahaven FM and totallyradio – the UK’s longest-running internet radio station.

James is also a guitar teacher, and plays in Brighton bands Water Canvas and Hot Glass.

He’s currently interning at FatCat Records – an independent label based in Brighton which specialises in electronica, post rock, indie, downtempo, minimal techno, noise and punk-pop.
