Sixteen year old BIMM Manchester Vocal Diploma student, Ellie Dibben, is an old hand at the music business, having recorded her first single which had BBC radio airplay when she was just 11 years old.
2015 will see her playing Europe’s largest country music festival – C2C: Country to Country – that welcomes over 50,000 fans and takes place at both The O2 in London and the 3Arena in Dublin on the same weekend.
At 12, Ellie entered a singing competition and was flown to Hollywood to record a song and video in NightBird Recording Studios, which counts Elton John, Aerosmith, Iggy Azalea, Phil Collins, Katy Perry and Madonna among its clients.
She performed at Pinewood Studios at a Blue Plaque unveiling event in honour of the late Sir John Mills. The occasion was attended by his family and a whole host of celebrities, including the late Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees, who invited her to sing at his private garden party in Oxfordshire the following summer.
Ellie was the youngest person ever to perform on the Main Stage at the Americana International Festival in Leicestershire and in 2011 she played at the Underage Festival in London’s Victoria Park alongside the likes of Rizzle Kicks, Bombay Bicycle Club and Ms Dynamite.
Ellie has worked closely with the legendary US singer-songwriter, P.J. Proby, who has mentored her and guided her career as his protégé. P.J. Proby has arranged and produced many of her tracks.
In 2013 Ellie was also the support for X Factor finalist, Luke Friend, for his gig in Warrington.
