Larissa Eddie Returns to BBC’s All Together Now

18 March, 2019

BIMM Brighton alumna Larissa Eddie made a return to television screens across the UK this month for a second stint as a judge on BBC 1’s ‘All Together Now’.

Appearing on a panel of experts featuring one hundred members of the UK’s music and entertainment industry, Larissa’s role sees her judging contestants’ efforts as they sing their way to a grand prize of £50,000.

As a seasoned vocalist herself, Larissa has toured, recorded and performed alongside the likes of Matt Cardle, Peter Andre, Lionel Richie and Tito Jackson at world class venues such as London’s O2 Arena and the Royal Albert Hall.

Watch Larissa giving some incredibly positive feedback on theatre performer Bernadette’s brilliant rendition of the Jocelyn Brown classic, ‘Somebody Else’s Guy’.

“I loved every second of filming the show!” said Larissa on her role in ‘All Together Now’. “This is its second series and it’s bigger and better than ever! I was so excited to be asked back.

I had been wanting to make a move into TV for a while and this was such a perfect opportunity to do just that. It was so refreshing to be a part of a new entertainment show that was about the fun and the talent and that didn’t have any sob stories, etc. It’s been a joy to pass on valuable advice and really encourage the contestants throughout the show.”

Larissa continued to describe what it’s been like featuring on the series alongside its co-hosts, comedian Rob Beckett and Geri Horner of Spice Girls fame.

“Being part of ‘The 100’ has to be one of my favourite parts of the show.” said Larissa. “It’s so amazing, I really feel like I’ve gained 99 new friends including Geri, who is our head Judge (team captain). I was a huge Spice Girls fan growing up, so to actually work with her has been a dream come true. Another highlight was working alongside Rob Beckett. He is genuinely so funny and had us in stitches throughout the filming. “

Larissa studied Vocals and Songwriting at BIMM Brighton for three years before starting her career in the entertainment industry. She reflects on how the courses she studied helped prepare her for her current position.

“I joined straight from school so it was the perfect start into music for me. BIMM really built my confidence and the networking was brilliant. I got into bands and really started growing as a performer. It also taught me valuable lessons about the music business side of things.”

We wish Larissa the best of luck with the rest of this series of ‘All Together Now’ and can’t wait to see what else her career in the creative industry has in store.
