BIMM heads to Glastonbury!

Glastonbury, the mother of all music festivals, is nearly upon us. And this year sees BIMM returning to the hallowed site on Worthy farm to host its very own stage – providing a select cohort of student artists with the opportunity to perform at one of the largest live music events in the world.

In late-June, BIMM will return once again to the famous solar powered Croissant Neuf bandstand, where a host of current BIMM students from across five of our eight campuses will perform throughout the weekend for crowds of eager festival-goers.

Appearing on our stage this year will be:

Caleb Harris, Jonah Carswell, Leila Jane, Luvia, Megan Lara Mae, Mauwe, Moon Looks On, Rhythm Of The 90sAll The Brave Hunters, Madelaine Kay and Shagrats.

BIMM’s involvement with the festival doesn’t stop there though! A whole host of current students and recent graduates are set to appear across various stages throughout the weekend too, including:

Ta’Shan – BIMM London
BBC Introducing Stage – Friday – 12pm

Gardna – BIMM Bristol

Clash Stage – Thursday 8pm-3am
Blind Tiger stage –  Friday – 12am onwards
Gully Blues Stage – Sunday – 12.30pm-2pm

Kudu Blue – BIMM Brighton

BBC Introducing Stage – Friday – 2.15pm

Bridges – BIMM London

Bimble Inn Stage – Thursday 5pm

Fontaines D.C. – BIMM Dublin

William’s Green Stage – Saturday 4pm

The Flavians – BIMM Berlin

Avalon Cafe Stage – Sunday – 9.50pm

Being one of the biggest and most revered live music festivals in the world, Glastonbury 2019 will also feature performances from lots of other BIMM Artists and former students too, including the likes of George Ezra, Hawkwind, Pale Waves, Placid, Circes’s Diner, Jasper Storey, Gabriel TemplarChrissie Huntley, Tom Odell and Tygermylk, plus Jason Cooper, full-time drummer for the festival’s headliners, The Cure.
