BIMM Bristol Partners with ENTS24

At every BIMM Live at BIMM Bristol, our students are hoping to do more than just win over the crowd. Also in the audience is a representative of Ents24 – one of the UK’s premier music listings and ticketing websites – with a very special prize for some of the performers.

The partnership has been running for around 18 months, and at each BIMM Live they give away £1000 worth of PR for at least 2 acts. In total they have awarded over £10,000 of free PR to BIMM Bristol artists so far, and not only that – they meet with each act, helping them plan and develop live strategies and releases.

Mark Bowers, Head of Events, Guests and Careers told us how the partnership came about “Ents24 are great, I have worked with them on national tours many times before when I was a promoter at Metropolis Music. They are really passionate about supporting new artists and as their main office is in Bristol, it only seemed right that we work with them on BIMM Live.”

One of the recipients of the prize is Songwriting student, Chay Snowdon, who used the package to help promote his first ever UK Tour. The support even helped them sell out his hometown show in Plymouth. Talking about the experience of working with Ents24 Chay said “Organising something like that was completely foreign to me, and the help from Ents24 made it so much easier.”

The relationship with Ents24 is invaluable to our students, as it helps push them out to brand new audiences they otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to reach. And, as in the case of Chay, the relationship doesn’t end after the initial investment. For example, support for Chay has continued into his latest tour, with the dates being added to the Ents24 website.

On a final note, we asked Chay what receiving the prize meant to him: “It felt amazing that Graham from Ents24 chose to award us with the awesome package. We knew how much help it could be, so to actually win it was crazy, and I’m so thankful for it.”

A huge congratulations to all our winners so far!
