BIMM Berlin Students Trial New Sennheiser Gear

11 September, 2018

Rehearsals for three BIMM Berlin bands had a little something extra recently, but you’d have had to look closely to spot it: all band members performed using Sennheiser’s dynamic new in-ear monitoring device, the IE 40 PRO.

The German audio electronics specially selected three up-and-coming BIMM Berlin acts – Ritzy Park, Moa McKay and Lexodus – to feature in three separate commercials for the innovative new kit. To capture the bands using the IE 40 PRO for the first time, the Sennheiser crew paid a visit to the BIMM campus, filming their experience during rehearsals, and a fun day was had by all. To see for yourself, check out the results in the videos below.

Songwriting student and Ritzy Park member Karolina Beijerbronden says the experience was a really positive one: “We had a great time trying out the new IE 40 PRO in-ear monitoring system with Sennheiser. They were such a wonderful crew! The in-ears helped us to avoid damaging volumes and gave us the opportunity to hear a perfect balance of the instruments while performing.”

Sennheiser is known for its high-quality products, and claims the IE 40 PRO offers precise sound at both low and high sound pressure levels. The result means maximum control on a loud stage – a setting we know these great BIMM bands are more than familiar with. They lucky students who featured in the videos were each gifted a set for taking part!
