Svetlana Vassileva

Head of Live Performance Workshop

Svetlana is a professional musician and educator who has completed a Masters in Performance at LCM and currently holds a Postgraduate Learning and Teaching Certificate.

Her first band, the Vegastones, had a major deal with V2 and supported Duran Duran on a UK arena tour. As a touring bass player for Moby, she travelled around the planet several times; her personal highlights being Moby’s Glastonbury 2003 Pyramid Stage headline and an iTunes festival performance in London, which was streamed live on the iTunes website. Svet has performed at many recording and TV sessions for artists such as Glenn Tilbrook, John Barrowman and Sharleen Spiteri. Together with BIMM London tutor, Phelan Kane, she’s a founding member of pop electronic band, Plastic Cinema.
