Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Richard’s career has spanned the full spectrum of production and compositional work. He lectures at Kingston University and is chief executive officer of the Music Producers Guild (UK).

Richard has produced over 35 albums, from heavy metal, reggae, blues, bollywood and bhangra to rock and roll, new age, jazz, pop and garage. As a musician he’s played on over 200 recordings and performed in 28 countries on five continents. He’s composed for hundreds of TV and radio commercials, plus a myriad of artists and television series, including America’s Most Wanted, Eldorado, and news and current affairs programmes. Richard has also provided the sound design for a number of Hollywood films, including ‘An American Werewolf in London’, ‘Superman II, III and IV’, ‘Flash Gordon’ and Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ video.
