Giuseppe Grondona

Drum Lecturer

Giuseppe teaches Drums at BIMM Insitute London. From Bari in southern Italy, Giuseppe graduated in drums and percussion at the Conservatory of Music when he was 21 years old. He performed as a contemporary percussionist at New York University and in Paris, and has toured and recorded as a drummer throughout Italy.

He’s performed with household names such as Tormento (Sottotono) and shared the same stage with Coolio, Simply Red, Eric Clapton, Pink and many others. In 2009, Giuseppe played with the band performing in the movie ‘Nine’, inspired by Federico Fellini’s ‘8½’, and directed by Rob Marshall.

More recently, Giuseppe has played with the Maurizio Grondona Group in Los Angeles at the ‘Thursday Night Vibe’ show, produced in conjunction with 94.7 The Wave, smooth jazz radio station, and at the ‘Los Angeles-Indie Music/Film International Summit 2012’.
