Erika is an award-winning PR who has over 12 years of industry experience working with global music and lifestyle clients, such as Converse, 100 Club, TDK, Moogfest, the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, New York Sound City, DFA Records, and a wealth of artists including Mark Ronson, LCD Soundsystem, James Blunt, Patrick Wolf and Will Young. Having started out at major record labels Virgin and EMI, Erika went on to work at leading independent PR agencies MBC and Dawbell, before joining the New York-based music and brand agency Cornerstone and opening their London office in 2011.
Leaving for the bright lights of New York City, Erika set up Watermelon Agency with photographer Rachael Wright. Since returning to the UK, Erika continues to consult for a range of music and brand clients, including global music and entertainment agency WMA, who represent over 100 artists. In addition to her PR work, Erika has been a DJ, running successful London club nights ‘Easy Lover’ and ‘Love to Love’, and has contributed to Velour Magazine, interviewing artists including Daniel Merriweather, Ren Harvieu, Ladyhawke and Yuna.
