Jules Gulon Lands Role as Studio Assistant

6 December, 2017

Since graduating with a degree in Music Production from BIMM London in 2017, Jules has secured a role as a studio assistant at Pierce Entertainment – a London-based studio offering recording, mixing, mastering, publishing and label services.

As a result of his connection with Pierce, Jules has been involved in the execution of high profile projects, one of the most recent of which was assisting with Sam Smith live at the BBC, a live televised performance from the multi-award-winning vocalist.

Here, Jules details what made his production degree such a valuable addition to his skill-set.

“The multidisciplinary aspect of the course means a lot to me. Learning about how the industry nowadays operates, composition techniques, and production skills is something I have been treasuring as a graduate. I’ve also been encouraged to learn and research more about what already meant a lot to me, which is something I do all the time now. So, it was great to receive this strong foundation from my studies.”

Jules’ strong initial post-graduate position at Pierce Entertainment puts him in the running for many more exciting projects, and we look forward to hearing all about them in future.
