BIMM is excited to announce its new partnership with the brilliant Truck Festival this Summer.
BIMM will be running the famous Barn Stage and will have artists from all six BIMM campuses performing at the award-winning three-day event.
Truck Festival takes place between Fri 15 – Sun 17 July 2016 at Hill Farm in Steventon, Oxfordshire. Its 18-year history has seen sets from the likes of Biffy Clyro, Foals, The xx, Two Door Cinema Club and Peace and is the discerning go-to festival for credible and quality acts.
‘The Barn Stage in Association with BIMM’ will feature 29 BIMM bands/artists including Wild Front, Atlas Wynd, Barron, Thoughts, Thumper, The Karma Repair Kit, Orchards, No Violet, New Luna and Thyla. There will also be Event Management and Music Business students from various BIMM colleges helping out with sound engineering, artist liaison, stage management, backline tech-ing and production.
“We are extremely excited to be playing on the Barn Stage at Truck Festival in Oxford. We’ve heard lots of really good things about Truck from people who’ve been to this festival. This will be a great opportunity for Barron to play some new music to a large audience over the summer. We can’t wait to get on stage.” (BIMM Manchester band, Barron‘s front man Alex)
Truck Festival recently confirmed that for 2016, the event will expand to three days at the Hill Farm site, so a whole extra 24 hours will be on offer packed with the best indie, rock, pop and electronic acts – and will now be incorporating our talented BIMM musicians!
“We are delighted to announce our partnership with Truck Festival this summer and thrilled that BIMM will be curating and managing the famous Barn stage. Roll on summer!” (Suzi Ireland – BIMM Artist Promotion & Festival Manager)
