Jazz Drum Tutor

Conor is Ireland’s foremost jazz drummer and educator. He has toured and recorded with some of the finest jazz musicians in the world today including:, Larry Coryell, John Abercrombie, David Liebman, Kenny Werner, Joe Lovano and many others. He is also an expert in Afro-Cuban music, and has directed many ensembles from trios to Latin Jazz big bands. His innovations in the area of the application of Cuban clave concepts have led to an international demand for his teaching.

He has lectured in many of the top music colleges in the world including: Berklee College, The New School, New York,  Drummers Collective, American school of jazz, Paris, Rhythmic Conservatory, Copenhagen, Lima Sousa Conservatory, Sao Paolo and many more.

He has published 2 books with Advance Music “Odd Meter Clave” and “Rhythmic Reading for Drummers”. He has also written for Modern Drummer magazine.
