Chad Smith Visits BIMM Dublin

The Live Room was reverberating with virtuoso drum beats in early November when Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith dropped in for a surprise Q&A and jamming session. He wowed the BIMM Dublin students with his astounding drumming skills and brought the house down when he jammed first with some of our tutors (including his good pal Graham Hopkins), and later with an assortment of our students. Chad spoke candidly about how he first met the rest of the Chili Peppers and what a great privilege it is to be in one of the world’s biggest touring bands. He also suggested that November the 4^th should be henceforth known as BIMM Dublin Chad Smith Day — a motion which was unanimously passed!
