BITTER RUIN

BITTER RUIN

Bitter Ruin formed in 2007 in Brighton when Ben Richards and Georgia Train met at BIMM.

After playing hundreds of gigs and festivals Bitter Ruin released their self titiled first EP. In 2008 they released ‘We’re Not Dancing’ which bought the band great press and in 2009 they flew to America to work with Jason Rubal on producing their first studio album ‘Hung, Drawn & Quartered’

Early 2010 Bitter Ruin were contacted by Amanda Palmer of The Dresden Dolls to play a show with her at KOKO, London. The band went on to support Amanda Palmer for the whole UK and Ireland leg of the tour which led to a sold out headline European tour and a tour of the US and UK.

The band continue to go from strength to strength and have recently performed with Matt Lucas at The Borderline, London. If you missed it,  CLICK HERE to watch a video!
