BIMM Students at Abbey Road Studios

In April 2012, for the first time in Abbey Road Studios’ historical record, a Colombian artist and collaborators were invited to record Latin American folkloric music in Studio 2, the recording location for many of the world’s most famous albums. This has recently become a significant event of national pride within Colombia’s media for contributing to the popularization of their country’s beautiful musical folklore internationally.

Among the musicians invited to record were BIMM Brighton student Eirini Tornesaki and BIMM Graduate Sebastian Laverde.

BIMM Brighton and Bristol have undergone a review for educational oversight by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and has received its final report, which is available in full here
We have received the following judgements from QAA: The review team has confidence in BIMM’s management of its responsibilities for the standards of the awards it offers on
behalf of its awarding body.
The review team has confidence that BIMM is fulfilling its responsibilities for managing and enhancing the quality of the intended learning opportunities it provides for students.
The review team concludes that reliance can be placed on the accuracy and completeness of the information that BIMM is responsible for publishing about itself and the programmes it delivers.
