Periphery visit BIMM Bristol - Masterclass and Download Festival warm up.
Periphery Deliver Exclusive Pre-Download Progressive Metal Masterclass
Three fifths of progressive metallers Periphery: Misha Mansoor, Matt Halpern and Adam 'Nolly' Getgood delivered a master class in how to write and deliver the heaviest and most complex music on earth to students of the Bristol Institute Of Modern Music (BIMM). The ninety minute class was an exclusive, intense and intimate pre Download Festival appearance. Primarily led by the olympian drummer Halpern, this session featured the band playing brand new Periphery songs and a deconstruction of some of their most well known tracks. The band went on to discuss the Periphery writing and recording process. Bassist Adam 'Nolly' Getgood, an alumni of BIMM, gave special thanks for the insight that working at BIMM had given him.
