BIMM Bristol

 
Our 8000 sq ft building in Bristol’s King Square first opened its doors to students in October 2008. BIMM Bristol has 7 teaching rooms, library and resource room, a student common room and individual tutorial rooms. The King Square site is the hub of BIMM Bristol’s activities.
 
Facilities include:
 
A 40’ Live Performance Room with a seated capacity of 65; fully kitted out with a 4K PA system, guitar and bass amps by Marshall, Orange, Ampeg and Laney, drums by DW and a Kurzweil stage piano. Full AV facilities are also available for presentations.
 
A dedicated guitar teaching space featuring a range of vintage and modern equipment from Marshall, Fender, Vox, Mesa Boogie, Gibson, Blackstar and Orange.
 
A songwriting studio equipped with a Roland TD-12 v-kit, Kurzweil stage piano, and backline by Laney and Orange.
 
A specialist vocal studio with a Kurzweil Stage piano and mics by Shure and Rode.
 
A bass studio equipped with backline by Laney, MarkBass and Orange.
 
A multi-purpose artist development room for teaching, pre production and rehearsals. This room is equipped with a full backline including DW drums, amplifiers by Laney and Orange and a Kurzweil stage piano.
 
A drum room fitted with 14 top level Roland TD-12 v-kits, DW drums and Zildjian cymbals.
 
 
At BIMM Bristol we make teaching spaces available for students to book to rehearsals in for free, timetable permitting.
 
BIMM Bristol has also teamed up with the Colston Hall, one of Bristol’s leading venues to offer students free rehearsal space in their Unicorns Rehearsal Rooms. Bookings can be made through reception at BIMM.
