Guy Pratt - Bass Masterclass - 11th May '12

The session bassist, actor, comedian and songwriter Guy Pratt joined us here at BIMM Bristol for an exceptional masterclass on the 11^th May ’12. Guy has performed with artists such as Pink Floyd, Gary Moore, Roxy Music, Michael Jackson, Echo and the Bunnymen, Jimmy Page, Kirsty MacColl, The Smiths, Tears For Fears, Madonna, Robert Palmer and Brian Ferry. Guy was chosen as the bass player for Pink Floyd’s post Roger Waters World Tours in 1987 and 1994. During the masterclass he detailed his touring career with hilarious anecdotes and insights into the life of a professional session musician. He also performed examples of his work and then took the time to sign copies of his autobiography and take photos with students.
