Music courses at the Bristol Institute Of Modern Music
"At last, a real school for real players...BIMM rocks!" - Ace (Skunk Anansie)
By 2009 - Bristol Institute of Modern Music will run various full-time and part-time programmes from entry level to BA Honours degree for guitar, bass, drums, vocals, songwriting.
From September 2008, BIMM Bristol will run Professional Diploma and Foundation Degree course (subject to validation by Bath Spa University) in guitar, bass, drums and vocals. We also run various annual summer school courses.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
You must put everything you have into your work as a musician. You must take your development seriously as we do. No one is saying that your time at BIMM will always be easy. There will be a lot of fun times but there will also be many obstacles to overcome. It's up to you to make the most out of this opportunity.
PERFORMANCE COURSES
There are three core courses at BIMM Bristol in 2008 - 9, of which you can specialise in your chosen instrument or area. These include BIMM Professional Diploma (Level 5) in Modern Music, BIMM Professional Diploma (Level 5) in Songwriting, and Foundation Degree in Professional Musicianship. BIMM also run annual Summer Schools.
Plus, whatever course you take, you will study a Music Business module.
