Bimm MUSIC SCHOOL FACILITIES

BIMM are committed to the continual investment in courses, tutors and facilities. We have recently converted a three floor 8000 square foot new building in King Square, Central Bristol (BIMM Bristol) which opened for the new term starting October 2008. The purpose built facility contains a main live performance room/lecture studio, four dedicated soundproofed teaching studios, two fully equipped drum rooms containing Roland and DW kits, two tutorial / A&R Guidance rooms, a resource room (containing lending library and IT suite) and a student common room. Each classroom is kitted out with masses of pro backline including: Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Fender, Ampeg, Peavey, Laney and Orange.

REHEARSAL + STUDIO FACILITIES

BIMM is able to recommend several cool and reasonably priced places to rehearse and record around Bristol.

THE THEKLA

BIMM has a very special relationship with one of the most important live music venues in the South West: The Thekla. For two days a week BIMM students engage in Live Performance classes on the same stage and use the same amazing PA system as the established artists who play the venue every week. The venue is also used for several gigs throughout the BIMM year. These gigs are invariably sold out and students get the chance to play in front of hundreds of people with pro sound, lights and backline.
