Dani Wilde

FE Programme Leader - Level 2

After graduating with a first-class degree in Vocals from BIMM in 2005, singer, guitarist and songwriter Dani signed to prestigious blues record label Ruf Records and has spent the past seven years touring up to 250 concerts per year across Europe, Canada and America.

Dani has secured three No.1s in the official blues music charts, as well as charting in the Top 40 European Country Music Charts. Touring and recording with top session players and producers, Dani has been regularly featured on BBC Radio 2, has shared a stage with names including Pee Wee Ellis, and has performed at thousands of venues and festivals across Europe, America, Canada and Africa; from opening for Jools Holland at London’s Royal Albert Hall, to the slum communities of Kenya, to Times Square.

In September 2015, Wilde was awarded 'Best Female Vocalist" at the British Blues Awards.

In 2017 Wilde signed to VizzTone Label Group in the USA (Run by Muddy Water's guitarist Bob Margolin). Her latest self-produced album “Live at Brighton Road” was released in June 2017.

"Dani Wilde is a modern day British Blues Phenomenon... Live at Brighton Road is a treat for the eyes and ears... the overall effect is breathtaking" Blues Blast Magazine, USA, 2017

"She releases a sort of diesel roar from her throat, pierced with little darts of high falsetto. It is like two voices. She sings the old twelve bar blues "I'm In The Mood", whooping and slurring like an old boy from the Delta. The place goes mad, as if it can't quite believe what it's heard."
