Korda Marshall Confirmed for BIMM Induction Event

One of the UK’s key A&R legends, Korda Marshall, has just been confirmed as the Music Industry Key note speaker at the BIMM 2012/13 Induction event at the Theatre Royal in Brighton on Friday 5th October.

Korda Marshall will no doubt have been celebrating his latest signing, Alt J’s, nomination for a Mercury Music Prize this week. As MD of Infectious Records he also has Australian band, Temper Trap on his current roster. 

Korda Marshall has almost 30 years experience in the UK music business.  Having spent eighteen successful years within the corporate environment as well as nearly twelve years building and growing independent music companies.  He has played in a band, scouted, signed artists, directed major label A&R departments, produced, executive produced and been a managing director of three large Record labels (Atlantic, Warner Bros BMG/RCA).  He is currently on the board of the BPI (British Phonographic Institute), the OCC (the Official Chart Company) and a new digital start up called ‘M-Flow’,  as well as chairman of his own independent record company ‘Infectious Music (Temper Trap / Mercury nominated Alt J).
