BIMM donates to Amy Winehouse Foundation

BIMM were delighted to have Mitch Winehouse in attendance at the Brighton End of Term Gig this year at the Concorde 2.

Mitch joined us for the evening to collect a  £3000 donation from BIMM to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. During a break in the show Mitch spoke to the students about his late daughter Amy and about the fantastic work being done by the foundation, including their connection with the local childrens hospice Chestnut Tree House.

Every year BIMM donate the proceeds from our live shows to a charity that's close to our hearts and this year the Amy Winehouse Foundation seemed the natural choice. Over the last couple of years the number of female vocalists attending BIMM has increased massively, no doubt influenced by Amy and her stunning voice. So we were delighted to show our support for the foundation and the huge influence of Amy Winehouse on the UK music industry.
