Course Fees and Financial Assistance
BIMM Brighton is a private vocational training provider.
Different levels of funding can be accessed for students depending on course, age and individual learning requirements. Please refer to our finance packs or website for more information on funding options.
Every year BIMM has the privilege of being able to offer a very limited amount of scholarships and bursaries to talented and dedicated applicants who are in need of financial assistance and support. For more information on how to apply, please email info@bimm.co.uk or call 08442 646 666.
Residents outside the European Union unfortunately do not qualify for UK financial assistance.
When applying for a BIMM Brighton course through UCAS you will need to enter our Institution Code - B39 and the Brighton Campus Code - N.

*We will require a non-refundable £100 commitment fee from all U19 Diploma students.
Students that successfully complete the Foundation Degree to a high standard may apply to do a one year top-up to gain a BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship.

Scholarships (Applications for scholarships will open from April 2013)
PRS for Music Springboard Scholarships for Songwriting and Music Business. Diploma level only.
PRS for Music are offering five scholarships to students who wish to study on one of BIMM’s new Springboard Diplomas in Brighton. The scholarships are for one year Artist Development courses in Songwriting, or for the 1 year Entrepreneurs Diploma in Music Business.
The purpose of these scholarships is to ensure equality of opportunity for young people, to raise aspirations and educational attainment and improve employment prospects within the music industry.
BIMM Scholarships
Every academic year BIMM is able to offer a limited amount of full or part scholarships to talented and dedicated applicants who are in financial hardship. These scholarships are limited to courses where student funding does not cover the full cost of the course. Scholarships are only available for UK residents.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, your household income must be below £40,000 per year. Below is a breakdown of what scholarship you can be considered for dependant on your household income:
- Household income of £25,000 per year or less — you may be eligible for a FULL scholarship
- Household income between £26,000 - £40,000 per year — you may be eligible for a PART scholarship
You must have been offered a place on a course in order to apply for a scholarship.
Bursaries (Deadline to apply 7th June)
EMI Music Sound Foundation have provided BIMM with a bursary of £4000 for Brighton students and £1000 for Bristol students. This Bursary is only available to UK residents.
These bursaries are available to applicants who are in financial hardship.
The bursary can be spilt amongst a number of applicants over the age of 19 who are on a Diploma or PG Cert programme at Brighton. The maximum age for applicants is 25.
You must have been offered a place on a course in order to apply for a bursary.
Household income must be below £25,000 per year in order to be eligible for this bursary.
