The Hoosiers and MD of Epic Records at BIMM’s Induction event

Induction Day at the Theatre Royal received a host of industry guests which included The Hoosiers who did a Q&A with TV & radio presenter Briggy Smale. The band spoke about their rise to fame, detailing the days of doing numerous showcases, to finally signing with the RCA Label Group. They gave insight into their songwriting technique and encouraged musicians to collaborate with artists to achieve a new sound. MD of Epic Records (Sony Music),

Nick Raphael also visited us to share his industry experience with our musicians. Nick who notably signed Jay Z, Paloma Faith and Scouting For Girls, gave a frank account on A&R and the approaches to finding new talent. He described how to get record labels interested in your music and encouraged all musicians to be proactive.
