Jeremy Lascelles the Chief Executive of Chrysalis Music, Britain’s largest music publisher, and one of the industry’s leading players, came into BIMM Brighton to share his expertise and knowledge. Chrysalis publishing’s roster includes major artists in music such as David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Damon Albarn, Thom Yorke, Danger Mouse, Pendulum and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Jeremy highlighted case studies like David Gray whom he has supported throughout his career. He gave insight into how songwriters are signed to a publishing label and how they can be developed as artists. In a candid Q&A Jeremy explained the current climate of the industry and what musicians need to achieve to shape future of music.
