Over the decades, many successful artists have made Berlin their home while they search to add creativity to their music; exploring routes and pushing boundaries made possible by the city’s unique history. So here at BIMM, we felt Berlin was the natural choice of location to open our first college in Continental Europe.
Our BIMM Berlin students attend lessons taught in English at Noisy Academy in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg creative district of Berlin. Via our partners Noisy Musicworld, BIMM Berlin provides state-of-the-art professional facilities, with equipment and software delivered by the world’s leading musical instrument manufacturers who actively support and endorse us. You’re never far from an Orange amp or Marshall amp at any of our BIMM locations!
The BIMM Berlin learning environment features bright comfortable classrooms, soundproofed spaces for performance teaching, high-tech production facilities, top-of-the-range Mac suites with Ableton-sponsored equipment, backline-fitted rehearsal studios, and an independently owned recording studio which can be booked by BIMM Berlin students at a discounted rate.
The BIMM Berlin building itself is a music industry hub with an equipment hire service, music accessories shop, a radio station, the Berlin branch of world-renowned music magazine NME, several independent recording studios and an online event ticketing agency. All of these great features give BIMM Berlin students an instant connection to the local creative and music community, and equip students with everything they need to get their music career off the ground.
All students studying a Bachelor’s degree course at BIMM Berlin have the option of an international exchange undertaking the second year of their study, at sister college BIMM London, right at the heart of the global music industry. You can read more about BIMM London’s highly professional facilities here.
