Every year, BIMM are proud to celebrate a large number of our graduates going into work in the music industry. We currently have our alumni working across a diverse range of roles including major labels, independents, PR companies, pluggers, agents, promoters, venues, studios, song writing companies, management, music journalisism, TV and radio broadcasting, tour management....as MD’s, Pit Musicians, session artists and of course as successful recording artists!

An alumnus (plural alumni) is a graduate of a school, college, or university. The Latin noun is derived from the verb alere "to nourish".
As our alumni you are valued members of the BIMM community and we want to keep in touch with you. The new BIMM Alumni feature of our website is a place to share information and expertise, offer guidance and advice where needed and for us to celebrate your successes.
The BIMM A-Team will be inviting you to a series of master classes, workshops and networking events (free to our alumni members) and welcome your requests for careers and A&R advice. In addition, we will be posting job vacancies, auditions and performance opportunities so please keep checking here.

Q. I've forgotten my login details, how do I get back in to the alumni section of the website?
A. Just follow the online instruction on the login page. There is an option to help you if you have forgotten your password. You should then be sent an automatically generated password http://www.bimm.co.uk/alumni/login. If you are still having trouble please email Rachel: alumni@bimm.co.uk
Q. How does the A-Team work?
A. The A-Team allows current students the opportunity to gain careers advice from alumni who are successfully working within the industry. Students will have to send an email to alumni@bimm.co.uk outlining the information that they are looking for and if applicable the specific person they wish to contact. This information is then passed on from BIMM to the alumnus. The alumnus send their response back to BIMM and we then pass back to the student so your contact details are not given. You can opt out of this at any point by emailing alumni@bimm.co.uk
Q. I'd like to share my news/ story on the BIMM website. How do I get it on there?
A. Just email Rachel: alumni@bimm.co.uk
Q. I need some advice on my career path. Can I get some help from BIMM?
A. Yes! Please get in touch with us on alumni@bimm.co.uk. The alumni department will provide guidance for you having liaised with other members of BIMM staff on your behalf if necessary.
