BIMM Brighton is part of the BIMM Group – the UK and Europe’s largest and leading contemporary music college. We offer a full range of Higher and Further Education music courses – from degrees and diplomas, to teacher training and part-time study.
BIMM Brighton was the first BIMM college to open (2001), followed by colleges in Bristol (2008), London (2010), Dublin (2011), Manchester (2013) and Berlin (2015).
The six BIMM institutes collaborate in perfect harmony, but at the same time, each individual music college has its own unique, independent regional identity which we continue to nurture.
Our students love BIMM Brighton because of its cool creative and artistic vibe, its easy access to performing at brilliant venues like Concorde 2, and the fact that the city hosts Europe’s leading festival for new music ‘The Great Escape’. Oh… and who doesn’t love being by the sea!
The BIMM Brighton campus is spread across three main buildings known as BIMM House and BIMM West (both in Brunswick Street West, Hove), and BIMM East (in the very appropriately named Rock Place, Kemptown). All our facilities are kitted out with high-tech equipment and software provided by the world’s leading musical instrument manufacturers who actively support and endorse us, including our teaching rooms, performance areas, recording studios, rehearsal spaces and mac labs. Our BIMM Brighton tutors are all very active in the local Brighton music scene and beyond, and between them have had many UK Top 5 albums, dozens of UK Top 40 singles, have collaborated with some of the biggest names in the business, and have launched the careers of major artists. Put simply, they’re really well connected and eager to pass their knowledge, experience and guidance onto you.
So, what are you waiting for? To make it in the music industry, connect with BIMM Brighton today.
